For just $1.99, you can have one of the greatest tools to help you quit smoking! A new iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad application is available that can aid you in this difficult process. The app, Quit Forever, was created by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center based on other stop-smoking programs that the developers know are successful.
When you download the app, it first asks you if you’d like to quit smoking cold turkey or if you would like to quit gradually. It then asks what day you want to quit smoking. After that, depending on how you’re quitting, the app will make you a schedule of how many cigarettes you can smoke per day (if any) and gives you a list of things you need prepare yourself for, like tension and cravings. The app also helps smokers identify triggers and provides information on medications that will help you quit, and it also provides the numbers of free smoking hotlines.
You can look at the app online here.
If you have been wanting to buy an unlocked iPhone, you don’t have to be sneaky to do it anymore. Apple is now offering unlocked iPhone 4s from their website and stores. A 16GB iPhone 4 will cost you $649 and a 32 GB iPhone 4 will cost you $749. For some, the price might be a deal-breaker, but for those of you who travel internationally quite often, this may be a great purchase. If you travel out of the country often, you will be able to use this iPhone by switching the SIM card to a service provider available in the country you’re in, which means you’ll pay less than you would with a regular iPhone 4 running on AT&T or Verizon.
If you do choose to get an unlocked iPhone 4, make sure you get the best iPhone insurance available with Worth Ave. Group!
Just before the WWDC, Walmart announced that they will be offering the iPhone 4 for $147- a $52 difference from Apple’s $199 price tag! Walmart is offering this deal for both the black and white versions of the iPhone 4. Of course, you have to sign up for a 2-year contract with either AT&T or Verizon in order to get this price for an iPhone 4.
This deal is available in “select stores” until June 30, according to Walmart.

They provide worldwide replacement cost coverage. If you file a claim they will send you money to repair your iPhone or to buy a new one. For all of this they will charge you less than $7 a month and if you file a claim your deductible will be just $50! There have been many reports that have recently been released that are hinting at Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPad 2 having some type of wave and pay technology. If you want to purchase something, it’s possible that all you’d have to do is wave your iPhone or iPad above a scanner. Apple hasn’t commented on this, so it’s not for sure yet. I guess we’ll just have to wait until summer!

Dr. David Albert, a doctor from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma has just recently come up with an app that could literally save your life. It allows you to monitor your heart. The device snaps onto the back of your iPhone so it can always be handy for you. It has two electrodes on it that allow you to just place the device on your chest. It works just like an ECG.
The most significant part of the device is the connectivity option. “A patient can transmit their own electric cardiogram to a healthcare provider, to a physician or to a critical care nurse,” Albert said.
Dr. Albert hopes to have the device on the market by April. He is planning on trying to sell it for under $100.

Angry Birds has been one of the highest selling iPhone apps in the app store for quite a while. The makers of this app released a Halloween edition and are now talking about releasing a Christmas edition, too. If you look at the developers’ Twitter posts, you will find that the Christmas edition of Angry Birds has been submitted to the app store and will hopefully be available in a week or so. The price for the Christmas edition app is free if you bought the Halloween edition, but $0.99 for iPhone and iPod touch and $1.99 for the iPad if you didn’t.
