There are rumors all over the internet that are saying there is yet another new iPhone possibly coming out in June. Everyone is calling it the iPhone Nano. It would be one-third smaller than the regular iPhone and would be less expensive than the iPhones are now, around $200 with no contract. It would also be able to be used on any carrier because of a universal SIM card slot.
Apple has not given any information about this possibility, but a smaller iPhone would be a great way for Apple to reach out to other people that aren’t with AT&T or Verizon.
Many may not be surprised that the iPhone 4 made PCWorld’s ‘Biggest Tech Wins” list of 2010. What many will be surprised by is how powerful iPhone 4 sales have been for Apple. A major reason the iPhone 4 made PCWorld’s list appears to be Apple’s fourth quarter sales report that shows record breaking sales for Apple. Within the report Apple states they sold 14.1 million iPhones in their fourth quarter which represents a 91% unit growth from a year ago and helped Apple’s overall fourth quarter sales reach $20.34 billion in revenue. An all-time record quarter for Apple. That lead to a cool net profit of $4.31 billion for Apple. To read Apple’s full report click: Apple Fourth Quarter Results.
