Eton has invented a case that not only protects your iPhone, but it also can charge it, too. With the Mobius iPhone Case, all you have to do is put the case in direct sunlight, and the it starts charging. When it is fully charged, the Mobius will more than double the battery life of your iPhone. It adds five hours of talk time, or eight hours of 3G access or video playback. Just one hour of charge time gives you 25 minutes of talk time.
You can also charge the case up separately or while on the phone with a USB cable.
This is perfect if you are “going green”!
A report in the Wall Street Journal says Sprint will begin selling the iPhone 5 in mid-October. There hasn’t been an offical annoucement from Apple or Sprint. The Wall Street Journal is citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter. For the full read in the WSJ click here.

Pampers has just come out with a new app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. It’s called Hello World Baby Memories and it encourages you to take a picture of your child one time every day so you can eventually see a slideshow video of how your child has grown. You can put these pictures and videos up on Facebook and other social media sites. You can download this app for free from the app store here.

A 16GB iPhone 4 will cost you $649 and a 32 GB iPhone 4 will cost you $749. Rumors say that Apple may be putting an aluminum back on their newest iPhone. They are doing this in an attempt to “go green.” The reason they want the iPhone 5 to have an aluminum back is because that makes it easier to recycle. Using recycled aluminum will allow Apple to make more iPhone 5s with less material, while at the same time doing their part to help the Earth.

Even though all the other iPhones have been released in June, the iPhone 5 may be different. Due to the iPhone 4 going onto the Verizon network, the iPhone 5 may be delayed until around September. Also, the recent earthquake in Japan is said to have an impact on the production of the Apple products, which could be another reason for the delay.
According to the MacRumors website, “Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July time frame, though there will be a newer version in the future. Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our web site when it is available to us.”
Some think the iPhone 5 will be produced for a release during the holidays of 2011 or early 2012. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

The fastest selling portable gaming system is the iPhone 4. According to Guiness, the first-day sales of the iPhone 4 was an estimated 1.5 million units. In comparison, the PSP sold only 200,000 units and the Nintendo DS only sold 600,000 units the first day they were available.
The most popular application marketplace, the largest downloadable video game store, and largest launch line-up of any gaming system is the Apple App Store. The App Store had over 6.5 billion downloads and nearly 260,000 apps available for download- which makes it the most popular downloadable app store in the world. Out of all these apps, nearly 40,000 of them were games, making the App Store the largest video game download store in the world. The last award the app store received, largest launch line-up of any gaming system, was determined when the App Store launched. It had over 500 apps when it launched, and 145 of those were games- which won the App Store the award.
