This is where the GLAS.t comes in. The GLAS.t is a screen protector for your iPhone, but it is actually made of a thin layer of tempered glass.

This thin (.4 mm) layer of glass fits on your iPhone with a layer of strong silicone adhesive. It will protect your iPhone screen from much more than minor scratches- some tests have even used knives and keys to show just how tough the glass is. The glass is chemically-treated and reinforced for shock absorption. If you drop your phone and the glass cover does happen to break, it will break into tiny non-sharp pieces for extra safety. Since this happens, the chances of actually breaking the screen on your iPhone is very slim. The GLAS.t also has an oleophobic coating to prevent fingerprints and to make it easier to clean.

The price tag on this product is surprisingly low, considering the average price of a two-pack of screen protectors is around $20. You can purchase the GLAS.t <a

It now has a 2048 x 1536 resolution- a MILLION more pixels than an HDTV. Pretty amazing, huh?

iSight Camera: The iPad 3 has a 5 MP camera that can take brilliant pictures or shoot 1080p video. According to the Apple website, “With an ƒ/2.4 aperture and a five-element lens, it captures light efficiently to produce a sharper overall image. And the hybrid infrared filter — typically reserved for expensive SLR cameras — keeps out harmful IR light for more accurate, uniform colors.”

iOS 5, iCloud, and Dictation: The new iPad still has all these great features!

The video below shows the new iPad- check it out!

<iframe

All you have to do is put the case on your iPhone and the scratches will vanish.

Nissan actually is using the same technology on this case as they do in the cars they produce. They coat the case with a kind of paint that can “heal” itself when damaged, call polyrotaxane. The chemical structure of the paint can go back into its original form in as little as an hour, or up to a week, depending on the how severe the damage to the paint is. When the paint is going back to its original form, it actually fills in the scratches on your iPhone and makes them disappear.

Unfortunately, this case is only available as a prototype right now. Hopefully we’ll see this case in the future!

HzO Waterproofs your iPhone

Apple Related

Iphone News

Apple Inc.

HzO

iPad

iphone

iPod Touch

Waterproof iPhone
<guid

This waterproofs your phone and allows it to be fully functional while in any kind of liquid. According to a post on PCWorld.com, “the technology isn’t intended for prolonged exposure under water, rather as a way to protect products when they’re accidentally dropped in the toilet or the bath, for instance. But the demonstration showed that the devices can, in fact, keep running for hours when submerged, and the company says they can safely be used while lounging in the pool or in the rain.”

The waterproofing process uses a vacuum chamber that sucks all of the air out of the device, and then pumps in a gas that seeps into the device. The gas has a waterproof material that rests on all the inside surfaces, which gives it a very, very thin protective coating. So, instead of this being a waterproof case that goes on the outside of the device, the inside of the device is waterproof.

Check out the video below to see the demonstration!

<iframe
