Affordable iPhone insurance for accidental damage and theft
About InsuranceForiPhones.Com After my 3rd broken or stolen iPhone (I only blame myself) it was time to find some insurance. I thought about insurance after my 2nd drop but couldn't find an affordable option. Then I found Worth Ave. Group. I paid 63 dollars for the policy, half the price of squaretrade. When my phone was stolen afterward they replaced it for just a 50 dollar deductible. So for 113 dollars, I got a brand new iPhone. Since I wasn't eligible for an upgrade with AT&T, it was going to cost 500 for a new phone! On ebay it was at least 600 for a new 16GB iPhone 3GS. You do the math! And THAT is why I started this site. Hopefully I'll save some of you from having a broken phone and no insurance!

Many iPhone customers had hoped the white iPhone 4 would be available in time for Christmas but no matter how good you were this year you won’t find the white iPhone 4 in your stocking on Christmas morning. Apple has delayed the release of the white iPhone 4 until the Spring of 2011. Earlier this week the Apple Store iPhone app appeared to offer the option to reserve a white iPhone 4 but by late Tuesday the option was no longer available. Apple has not released the reason for the delay except to mention the white model is more challenging to make than originally thought.
So you current and future iPhone users who were anxiously waiting for the highly anticipated white iPhone 4 will have to wait longer.

As many of you know, the iPhone 4 has it’s share of problems. Users reported yellow spots on the screen, no signal when holding the iPhone a certain way, and now users are talking about how breakable the glass on the front and back is. Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, Inc., claims the new glass on the iPhone 4 is “20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic.” Sounds pretty good, right?
Wrong. Many users have reported the glass back shattering after a fall from a short height. A recent study shows that the glass on the iPhone 4 is more than 80% more likely to shatter or crack than previous iPhone models.
This is where Worth Ave. Group saves the day. They are the least expensive and most reliable insurer available. They cover any accidental breaks or cracks on your iPhone- which is perfect for the iPhone 4. Check out their website here!

The app store now has an iPhone app that will wake you up in the morning when you are the most rested. All you have to do is open the Sleep Cycle app, plug your iPhone in, and place it screen down next to your pillow. Because the iPhone has a built-in accelerometer, it monitors your movement while you sleep. The app can then determine which sleep phase you’re in and can pick the best time to wake you up within 30 minutes before or after an alarm time you set. The app is only $0.99 in the app store so try it out today!

Check out this video! A man and his son sent an iPhone into space with just a take-out container, some hand warmers, insulation, and a weather balloon. This video is just seven of the 100 minutes that the iPhone took, but it’s pretty amazing.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the TomTom iPhone app. Well, now I have more news about the app.
A new update to the TomTom iPhone app allows you to navigate to the location of geo-tagged photos. With the new version 1.5 of the TomTom app, all you have to do is tap on a geo-tagged photo and TomTom will immediately take you to where the photo was taken. It is available for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with iOS 3.0 or higher.
TomTom said, “You no longer need to enter an address to get going. What you see is where you’ll go.”

There is a lot of buzz surrounding Verizon’s plan to release the iPhone 4 on their network early next year. This version of the iPhone, however, will be totally incompatible with AT&T’s version. The devices will look exactly the same from the outside, with the only notable difference being the carrier logo on the home screen. Aside from this, separate handsets must be purchased, and the phones will only work on their designated networks. In other words, if you want an iPhone on the Verizon network, you must not only buy Verizon’s version of the iPhone, but also the Verizon-compatible handset if you wish to use one.
No matter which network you prefer, if you plan on purchasing an iPhone, make sure you insure it with Worth Ave. Group’s iPhone insurance policy.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What better way to be aware than to have an app on your iPhone that reminds you to do your routine checks?
The iBreastCheck for iPhone was designed to better women’s understanding of and give them information about the disease. It allows the user to set an alert to do routine examinations. Dr. Sarah Rawlings, the head of policy at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, said, “While most breast cancers are in women aged over 50, a woman can develop the disease at any time so it is vital that all women are breast aware.”
A survey done by Breakthrough Breast Cancer showed that nearly half of the women who were questioned did not examine themselves on a regular basis. Also, according to the survey, 53% of women didn’t know that drinking alcohol can increase their risk of developing breast cancer, 47% didn’t think gaining weight will increase the risk, and lastly, 44% didn’t know they could reduce their chances of getting the disease by exercising regularly.
You can download the iBreastCheck iPhone application for free from either the iBreastCheck website or from iTunes.
It looks like Apple Inc. is bringing in a major player to help sell the popular iPhone. Besides the news of making a new iPhone Apple Inc. it’s also being reported that Verizon Wireless will begin selling iPhones sometime in early 2011.
At this time AT&T is the sole U.S. carrier for the iPhone and it was just a matter of time before Apple decided to expand distribution. I’m sure many Verizon customers are excited about the news and it will be interesting to see just how popular the iPhone will become as more and more cell phone users have the opportunity of purchasing one.
One thing is for sure, if you plan on purchasing an iPhone make sure you insure it with Worth Ave. Group’s iPhone insurance policy.
