March Madness App for iPhone
Posted by Sarah under Apple Related, Applications, Iphone News on Tuesday Mar 9, 2010There’s good news for college basketball fans. Well, there’s good news IF you own an iPhone (or iPod). For the second year, CBS Interactive released the March Madness application which delivers live video, radio, & highlights of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
The price is higher this year (at $9.99) but that’s probably because it’s bigger and better! This year’s app now supports live streaming over 3G, EDGE and Wi-Fi
connections. If $9.99 is a little steep, they are offering a lite version for free which gives you video live scores from every game, game highlights, and comprehensive news coverage of both the conference tournaments and NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
If you’re a FaceBook and Twitter fan (like me) you will be happy to know that you’ll be able to log into Facebook and Twitter and connect with your friends via the app.
Coverage begins with the NCAA Basketball Championship Selection Show on March 14 and continues with every game from the first round of the tournament through the semifinals and championship of the Men’s Final Four.
The only bad part about all of this…the iPad won’t be available until April 3rd!
